Nate and I traveled up to New Hampshire for Thanksgiving. Although we were only able to stay for about three days, we definetely got a lot crammed in - shopping, Christmas tree cutting down, good dinner, and Nate even played a show in Boston.

As of yesterday, we hit 23 weeks through our pregnancy. This means a couple things: we are more than halfway through, yay! I can feel baby moving around regularly. She feels like a fish swimming and flopping around, it is weird. Also, it means baby is around 10 or 11 inches long! plus, I just read on this website that her face if fully formed and now her nipples are starting to pop.

hope everyone is getting excited to meet Auden!

Wedding Photos!

Mark finished up with the editing and sent them our way. If you have facebook, feel free to browse the two albums on my profile. Otherwise, you'll have to let myself or my mom know if you'd like copies. We have them uploaded online so they can easily be ordered.

Anyway, I can't post all of them on here, but here's a preview! Hope you like them!

baby registry

Seeing as how we're approaching our 18th week of pregnancy, we thought it couldn't hurt to think about a baby registry.

For now, there's only a few items listed, but when we know the baby's gender I'm sure we'll be adding to it!

Just click here for the link!

**Please don't be alarmed that we're planning on using cloth diapers; we've looked into it and we see that we can save money in the long run this way, plus, I'd feel terrible throwing several diapers away a day just to be taking up earth space and landfills and such. We've got neutral colors for now, but we'll add some blues or pinks depending on the whatever the baby is! We will be needing disposable diapers for the first couple of months; we won't be able to afford to keep up with laundry while we are still in our apartment in Wayne as it costs nearly $4 to wash and dry one load.

Hopefully we'll get some photos up, soon!

We thought Fall was here but, oddly enough, we're enjoying warm evenings and afternoons in the 70's.

If you didn't know, we've been having a tough time with things here. To be brief, I'll suffice it to say that my hours were cut in half at my full time job and I was working almost every full weekend at my part time job. Although I was working every day, the hours didn't add up, and we were drained, financially.

For the past five weeks we'd been discussing what our possibilities could be, but it became obvious quickly that we'd have to figure out a new source of income - quickly!
The job market blows, but I think I've found a fit at Starbucks (a different locoation than last Winter!). My first day was on Wednesday and by Halloween I should be finished with the majority of my training there. The other partners I've met thus far seem nice enough and the store manager seems more than glad to have hired me.

Perhaps in a bout a months time we will apply for WIC and the food stamp program; we are having a difficult time getting by since we drained ourselves financially for the month I was working strictly part time.

Enough about that though!

We're around 16 weeks pregnant, and I am slowly getting excited about it. We can't wait to know the sex of the baby, and I expect my belly will start ballooning pretty soon. We'll post photos of our next ultrasound..!

Things are more uplifting; we have a sour if income, baby is healthy so far, I'm not barfing so much, and we're finally about to mail out our Thank you notes!

Nate and I plan on spending Thanksgiving in New England with his family, and Christmas in PGH with mine. We expect two visits from our moms in the months of November and December, and hopefully this will help me combat my heartache for family.

Enjoy the upcoming fall and winter!

Georgia

Hello! This last weekend Nate and I had the pleasure of taking the weekend off (something which rarely happens anymore) and heading to the South for Ali's wedding. Aside from the fact that it was obviously nice to get away for a couple days, it was also nice because we were able to see family members of Nate's side that not only I hadn't met yet, but also that Nate rarely gets to see himself!

Dave and Ali's wedding was a personal and cute affair and it's pleasing to see people who really want God to be a part of their life together.

While we split the drive up on the way down, we drove a grueling 12 hours yesterday. It was awesome being with family, but it also made coming home that much more painful; it's not easy living over five hours away from our families.

We look forward to the holidays when we will be able to again spend time with one another.

Missing all of you!

Hi! This week has been a busy week for us. As you can tell from Nate's previous post, he's started school and he definitely has a big course load. But I'm confident he can handle it. He's looking into working at one (or a couple?) of the campus dining locations on campus in terms of a part time job, and that will help us out financially - especially since his paid internship just ended. Lately I've been spending my free time at Eastern; I've really missed it and it is no secret that 'the real world' can be a pretty rude place... It's nice to come back to my college coffee shop and surf the internet and drink a nice beverage while my husband reads and studies for class. It's sort of a way of satisfying nostalgia, really.

On a different note, we had my second obgyn appt. today. The doctor tried to let us hear the heartbeat, but she couldn't find it, which made us concerned. So she pulled out the sonogram machine and got us a picture of the baby - and everyone laughed because it was literally DANCING all around. Like a fish out of water. SO WEIRD. With every sonogram and doctor appointment everything gets a bit more real.

We're in the process of making a few big changes, but we are unable to elaborate on them at this time. Suffice it to say that we can use all the positive thoughts and prayers you can spare for us.

On a lighter note, Nate's sister's wedding is coming up. We're going to be driving down south later this month.

I MISS EVERYONE,
Typhany

School and Pregnancy

So, school started. Tough schedule, a lot of reading, but I'm feeling good about the semester in general. Typh's OBGYN appointment is on Thursday and we have already had our first ultrasound. Pretty exciting stuff. It's funny to think that my Bible professor, Dr. Mosser, will be having his 6th child in March, when we're having our first child that same month. We will be in touch- Nate

coke slurpees.

Hi family. We haven't posted in a while because of all the new things that have been happening. This is Nate's last week of his internship and school starts pretty soon. We've gone to our first prenatal appointment last week and just got the bloodwork done yesterday. We just got past a terrible weekend in which I've begun battling 24/7 sickness. Nate takes care of me well. I'm tired and sick and the only thing that makes me feel better is coke slurpies from WaWa. If you somehow don't know what we're talking about, Nate and I are pregnant. About 7 weeks along, our due date is March 31st. We'll keep you updated.

B-MORE

What did you do for the fourth of July? We set some money aside and took a mini road trip to Baltimore and hung out at the inner harbor. We walked through the aquarium, saw a dolphin show, and spent some time at the huge Barnes and Noble there. The only downside is that 3 million other people had the same idea as we did. We later watched some fireworks from a distance at the train station with our neighbor Tom.

wedding photos!

Mark emailed me a couple of the photos to give us an idea of the direction he was heading in terms of editing. Mind you, these are only a couple out of several hundred! I should also mention that Mark said the family pictures done at the church turned out great. Hope you like them.
In the next week or two, expect to see pictures of our apartment and new car!

Hello!

Hello! Inspired by both the old "McNeill Family Newspaper" from the mid 90's and several different geographical locations of friends and family, I've decided to create a blog in an effort to keep in touch with everyone/let you know what is new and exciting on our end.

Looking forward to keeping in touch!
